We the SiiT Education was established in 2002, as a group of excellence in Information Technology and allied areas. The SiiT Education has been awarded by ASCB, UK, IQCS, and IRQAO– as “An IS ISO 9001:2008 Company the international standard ranking in the year 2006.
We the SiiT Education has been conceived with the ambitious objectives of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower in Information Technology (IT) and related areas. According to Nasscom's projections, overall software and services will grow by 25-28 per cent, clocking revenues of US$ 50 billion in FY 08. This will include IT software and services exports contribution of US$ 28-29 billion. Nasscom President Kiran Karnik believes that India has a potential addressable market of over US$ 300 billion, driven by growth of existing business and new service line opportunities. The IT sector would require nearly 500,000 professionals in the next five years to cater to the growing needs of this booming industry. By 2011, The Development council for Electronics Industry has formulated an India Information Technology vision 2010 plan to make India a global information technology force and one of the largest generators and exporters of software in the world.
